Hiya friend, Sophia from Dreamlancing here.

If you’re constantly attracting low-budget, demanding clients, you DON’T need to redesign your website or revamp your branding to attract high-paying clients…

…You need to raise your prices.

SO many freelancers overcomplicate things—thinking they need to have 10 amazing case studies and a roster of famous clients before they can charge high prices…

When in reality, your prices alone set the tone for the clients you’ll attract.

It’s extremely simple:

💸 Low paying, demanding clients want the cheapest option.

💎 High paying, premium clients want the best.

But we can go deeper here by looking at the fundamental differences between low paying clients vs high paying clients:

The Psychology of Low Paying Clients vs High Paying Clients

LOW PAYING CLIENTS ARE…

  • Earlier in their business journey (don’t know what they’re doing & insecure about it)

  • Less successful or haven’t validated their biz model yet (which makes it harder for you to get them good results)

  • Paying you a large portion of their profit (which makes them prone to micromanaging and scope creep)

vs HIGH PAYING CLIENTS:

  • More successful & know what they need to make more money (which makes it easier to get better results)

  • Super busy bc of how successful their biz is (they don’t have time to micromanage and want to trust you as an expert)

  • Have more budget to work with (they want to invest in the BEST option and don’t care about high prices)

If you want to work with high-paying clients and break past $10k months freelancing, your pricing should reflect that!

Higher Prices = Less Work, More Time

There’s only two ways to make more money as a freelancer…

1. Get more clients
2. Raise your prices

#2 is infinitely easier and simpler.

More clients = more stress, more marketing, more work.

Higher prices = more money for less work, higher quality clients, and better results. Its a win win for you AND your clients.

If you dream of having a clear, spacious calendar, long mornings, stress-free vacations and travel (without worrying about a demanding client sending you slack messages at 10pm)...

…at *minimum*, you should be charging $5K+ per project.

“I raised my prices…now what?”
